As you open this year’s Annual Report, I hope you feel the same sense of momentum and pride that we experience every day at The Maryland School for the Blind.
Thanks to your support, this has been a year of real progress. On page 6, you’ll see highlights of our major milestones—from the advancement of our new gym and pool complex to important investments in technology and student services. These are not just projects; they are lasting improvements that help our students learn, grow, and thrive.
Most importantly, this report is filled with student stories. I encourage you to page 16 to see how summer programs, creative arts, and hands-on learning experiences are building confidence and independence. From the stage in The Wizard of Oz (page 18) to the Busy Bee Studio (page 20), our students are discovering what they can achieve.
Finally, I invite you to review our financial overview on page 26. Your generosity, alongside strong public support, allows us to sustain and grow programs that make a real difference in students’ lives.
With continued investment in our campus, programs, and people, the year ahead holds even greater promise. Thank you for being part of this journey.
