Reintroducing the Peer Recognition Award Program! (formerly the STAR Award Program)
Here is the link to nominate any peers and co-workers that you believe have demonstrated extraordinary examples of the MSB Values (Accountability, Integrity, Collaboration, Transparency). Please include specific examples of how these values and behaviors have been recognized in the classrooms, dorms, or general work areas.

5-4-3-2-1 BLAST OFF
Let’s get our MSB Bees in Grades 3 through 8 together to register for the 1st Annual APH Abacus Bee!
We are so excited to be hosting MSB’s Inaugural Abacus Bee!
The APH Abacus Bee is a regional math competition designed for blind and low vision students using an abacus, mental math, finger math, or counting cubes/manipulatives to compute multiple problems in a designated time frame.
All students who participate will receive t-shirts, prizes and goody bags! Some may even qualify to attend the National APH Abacus Bee in Louisville, Kentucky in March of 2024!
Please make sure to complete your registration by Friday, September 22nd, 2023.
A placement test will then follow on Friday, September 29th during school hours. This test aims to determine which testing group would be most appropriate for each participant.
Mark your calendars because the Bee itself is scheduled for Friday, November 3rd, 2023 and it too will take place during school hours.

ESY Fashion Show, “By The Beach” in collaboration with ESY “By The Sea” theme. Models wore beach or summer wear. We used the songs Umbrella by Rhianna and Jeruselema by KG. Life-size photographic Cardboard cutouts of Rhianna and Nipsey Hussle as special guests along with other beach props such as flowers, beach towels, chairs, beach balls, umbrellas etc. Special beauty gift bags including beauty products and hair products provided by Anjanette.
