SUMMARY:Outreach Disability and Transition-Aged Youth
DESCRIPTION:The transition from youth to adult is challenging for everyone\, but there are additional hurdles for disabled youth and their families. This workshop will focus on topics that help to foster independence through that transition\, including navigating Social Security benefits and the Age-18 Redetermination\, accessing health insurance\, understanding the impact of employment on\nSocial Security benefits as well as work incentives available to TAY\, how ABLE accounts can work for TAY and accessing other services.
