MSB is hosting a wrestling and cheerleading meet on Thursday, January 19 at 1 p.m.
The teams scheduled to compete are MSB, West Virginia School for the Blind and Overbrook School for the Blind.

The Maryland School for the Blind (MSB) wants students to have a positive self-image, high self-esteem and possess skills that will help them lead an enjoyable, fulfilling life. We regularly promote fitness, wellness and an active lifestyle among students.
This is achieved through a large variety of physical education activities, therapeutic recreation and opportunities for all students to participate in competitive athletic sports.
Competitive sports include:
-Swimming
-Track
-Cheerleading
-Goalball
-Wrestling
These sports are adapted for students with visual impairment. Individual accomodations are made so that those with additional disabilities may compete. During the school year, athletic teams and cheerleaders travel to other states to compete against their visually impaired peers. Athletics at MSB are voluntary, extracurricular activities.
